The college provides high quality Further Education and Training across a wide range of academic and vocational sectors.

Due to retirement of the current post holder, we are currently looking to recruit an Associate Principal Director of Finance to play a major role in our small leadership team. Providing education to 3,000 learners and with a current income of around £18million, this is an important role within the college. As a member of the senior leadership team, reporting to the Corporation through the Principal, the Associate Principal Director of Finance will be fully involved in high level strategic decision making, financial planning and strategy for a well regarded institution.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic leader with keen strategic financial and business acumen. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and have a strong accountancy background. Alongside the management of the finance team, the role will also manage the Management Information and Information Technology departments. They will be confident presenting information and communicating with senior stakeholders. Experience within further education would be beneficial; however, we are also interested in hearing from individuals from other complex organisations, who have a good understanding of FE funding.

Alongside a competitive salary, we also offer a generous benefits package including; Career Average Pension Scheme, generous holiday entitlement, with an additional closure period at Christmas, continued professional development, childcare voucher scheme, and a state of the art working environment.
