Changing Lives - A unique opportunity to develop a brand new Academy

Opening in September 2015, Oasis Academy Arena will raise aspirations by providing an outstanding education on the site next to Croydon Arena. The Academy will form part of Croydon's Olympic Legacy where partnerships with a number of prominent and successful local sports organisations will be developed.

Delivering an innovative curriculum and specialising in sports and sciences, the new Academy will be a community in which everyone counts. Inspirational teaching will be tailored to suit the needs of all students and there will be a Designated Resource Provision for 15 students with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Oasis Academies are not just schools but community hubs, providing a diverse range of services to benefit the whole community. Oasis Academy Arena will join the Ashburton Park Hub alongside our Shirley Park and Ryelands Academies. The hub offers a variety of services including support for homeless young people, a youth club and a community church.

We need an exceptional individual to lead the Academy. As a motivational leader, you will be required to establish a team delivering excellence consistently, while remaining passionate about the life chances of the students.

The appointed candidate will work under the leadership of the Executive Principal for Oasis Academy Shirley Park and Arena and will benefit from the support of Oasis Community Learning, the Regional Academies Director and a dedicated project team to ensure the successful development of the new Academy.
