Required from January 2015 an exceptional colleague to support the SENCO to further develop the work and the role of the team in its next stage of development at this exciting time of curriculum and statutory change. The SEN team works across the school to support students and staff to achieve outstanding outcomes.

There is currently a mix of support in class and specialist withdrawal classes.

The successful candidate must:

  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • be passionate about student achievement and aspirations
  • be able to inspire and get the best from others
  • show commitment to the school's vision and ethos
  • be creative, innovative and energetic
  • have proven leadership experience and the potential to develop further
  • have proven skills and knowledge in ensuring students with special educational needs make exceptional progress.
