Job overview

BRAEBURN IMANI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, THIKA, KENYA

The Braeburn Group of International Schools has seven school compounds across Kenya, five of which are CIS (Council of International Schools) accredited and two of which are members of IAPS (The Independent Association of Preparatory Schools).

Our children represent over 80 nationalities and we pride ourselves on the quality of education we provide. All Braeburn Schools follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales. We prepare students for IGCSEs, A Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB) and National Diploma.

Braeburn is recognised as one of Kenya's leading group of international schools. The school proudly operates an open admissions policy which supports its commitment to providing excellent academic, social and emotional development to children of all abilities.

Braeburn Imani, an upcountry mixed day and boarding school, requires:

EXPERIENCED BOARDING PARENT/S

to lead a team of boarding staff in the development of the full time boarding provision at the school. The school caters for students from Early Years to Year 13, with most boarders coming from Key Stage 3 upwards. The ability to teach part time in the secondary school (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent required), or to contribute in other ways to the day school, would be a definite advantage. A senior post within the school establishment may be available for the right applicant.

The successful candidate/s will receive a two year renewable contract, medical cover, membership of the school pension scheme, accommodation and a competitive local salary.

Interested applicants should email their letter of application, CV, a recent photograph and the details of two referees by Tuesday 22nd April to: catherine.sat@braeburn.ac.ke.

Interviews will be held in London in early May.
