Caretaker/Cleaner, Devon

20 hours per week, all year round

Required to start as soon as possible, an enthusiastic and able caretaker/cleaner dedicated to keeping our school buildings and grounds in excellent condition.

Working under the direction of the Headteacher, you will have responsibility for:

  • The security of the school and its grounds, including site inspections and operation of the fire/burglar alarms;
  • Scheduled cleaning, repairs and maintenance duties;
  • The cleanliness of the school and its contents in accordance with specified standards;
  • Keyholding.

You must be trustworthy, flexible and have competent cleaning and DIY skills, as well as a willingness to learn new skills. You will be a responsible individual who takes pride in your day to day work.
