Caretaker

We are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic person to join our school family and help us to keep our school site looking great! The successful candidate will be able to work in partnership with our school team, have experience in DIY, be friendly and able to work under their own initiative. They will be expected to ensure our school is kept clean, manage the school site, buildings and grounds, manage any lettings of the school premises and undertake a range of minor repairs, maintenance and decorating etc.

The post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working split shifts, 52 weeks per year. Holiday entitlement is 24 days (which must be taken during school holidays), plus bank holidays.

Chambersbury Primary School is a one form entry school in the south east of Hemel Hempstead. Our catchment area includes both private and community housing and we take children from 3 to 11. We have a spacious well appointed building and extensive, well developed grounds. Hemel Hempstead is conveniently situated for the M1 and M25 and Apsley train station is within walking distance of the school.
