Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic committed individual to join our school as caretaker. The successful individual will be required to work 37 hours per week to ensure the school is opened and closed at the designated times, in the approved condition of occupancy, together with other duties as set out in the job description including site security, boiler duties/energy conservation, general maintenance tasks and minor repairs. The successful applicant is also expected to share the cleaning rota of the school.

The hours of work are 6:00am until 10:00am and 2pm until 6pm Monday to Friday

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Knowledge and/or experience of a range of handyperson skill
  • Experience of caretaking or experience of building maintenance
  • Ability to carry out general repairs
  • Ability to carry out necessary Health and Safety checks and maintain log books
  • Willing to work outside normal hours if required
