Job overview

This job involves working as part of the 6th Form's Community Section called the Skills Centre, which teaches students who have a learning difficulty and / or disability (LLDD). As part of their provision the Skills Centre run several catering facilities on our Kingston Hall Road Site and in Kingston town centre. Catering facilities are run for the purpose of teaching LLDD employment skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of duties involved on a day to day basis in running a catering facility. In addition the successful candidate would support students in the skills to work in a caf. The role is term time only for 36 weeks per year; the management of the role would come under the Head of Section for the Skills Centre and Community Learning. Please note there may be some heavy lifting required to carry out the duties of this post.
