Robert Kett Junior School has a vacancy for a Chef Manager to provide a high quality catering operation. This is a great opportunity to revamp and rejuvenate our school meals. We are looking for a great people-person, someone who can carry out their duties efficiently and effectively. You must have ambition, drive and enthusiasm, as well as a real passion for changing the way in which school dinners are perceived.
Robert Kett Junior School has 620 children on roll; serving around 150 to 200 meals each day. The school has an excellent reputation in the local community and strives to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere and which is reflective of the enthusiasm and commitment of all in our school community. In September 2015 the school will become a Primary School and with the Government initiative for free school meals for key stage one children is likely to be serving in the region of 200 to 300 meals each day.
If you are able to work to deadlines, whilst at the same time demonstrating a bright and cheerful manner, managing the organisation of a busy working environment, yet still retain a sense of humour then you are the person we are looking for.
