We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with excellent subject knowledge to cover the depth required by our A level students.The successful candidate will work within an excellent department, and with the Head of Science support, maintain the popularity and strength of the subject throughout the school.
The successful candidate will be teaching across the full range of age groups including GCSE and will share in the teaching of AS and A level Chemistry, following the schemes of work with the Head of Science to ensure that the syllabus is current and dynamic. The ideal candidate will have an array of innovative teaching methods, including ICT, to stimulate students and to encourage them to develop a sense of enquiry and passion for Chemistry.
Participation in extra-curricular departmental activities including assemblies and Science clubs is expected as well as contribution to whole school extracurricular activities.
