Job overview

Collaboration for Outstanding Achievement

The Cabot Learning Federation (CLF), sponsored by the University of the West of England and Rolls-Royce, is a multi-academy trust of 12 academies, including five primary schools. Working together, we educate around 6,000 children in the greater Bristol region. Since 2009, all of the CLF academies that have been inspected have been judged to be at least good, with a trend of improving outcomes at KS2, KS4 and post-16.

We are now seeking a new Chief Executive who will ensure that all our academies offer outstanding provision and deliver outcomes for young people that will increase their life chances to equip and inspire them to continue to learn and develop in their adult lives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they can build on existing good practice, communicate the vision of the Federation, and support the Principals to deliver successfully in their own communities.

If you feel this description matches your skills and experience then we want to hear from you.

Further information and details of how to apply can be found at www.odgers.com/49877.

The closing date for all applications is 29 September at 5pm.

CLF is an equal opportunities employer and committed to ensuring our workforce is diverse.

The CLF is a partnership of schools that is sponsored by Rolls Royce PLC and The University of the West of England (UWE). It now sponsors twelve academies in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Weston super Mare and Bath. This means that we are responsible and accountable for the education over 6,000 students between the ages of 4 and 19 and for the employment and support of over 1,000 staff.

Our vision is based upon our mission of "collaboration for outstanding achievement" and the work that is now shared between our schools at senior and middle leadership level, teachers and support staff underpins this every day. All of our staff are employed by the CLF and this enables us to give colleagues the opportunity to work in more than one academy either for their own development or because the skills that they have are needed by more than one of our schools.
