Job overview

Suffolk's ambitions for our children and young people are simple:
We want every child to be taught in a Good or Outstanding school by a Good or Outstanding teacher.

We are seeking a truly inspirational Chief Executive to lead the new Suffolk Learning Partnership (SLP). In addition to an impressive track record of school improvement you will have superb leadership skills and the credibility to motivate and empower others. You will have the ability to challenge robustly but constructively, as well as the knowledge to facilitate success.

The SLP will be a coalition of all school leaders committed to driving improvement across the county. It will interrogate success, broker school-to-school support and become a hub for raising standards. Building a new relationship with Suffolk County Council the SLP will have a well-defined structure which models and embeds system-led leadership. This innovative new venture goes live in September 2014, providing a hightech physical space in West Suffolk College called 'The Bridge', which will provide a focal point for the SLP.
