About Brooke Hill Academy

Brooke Hill Academy is a mixed, mainstream primary school in Oakham, Rutland. It caters for three to eleven year old pupils, accommodating approximately 312 students.  

Brooke Hill converted to an academy on 1 September 2011. It federated with Edith Weston Academy and formed the Brooke Hill Academy Multi Academy Trust in January 2016. The school has an indoor swimming pool, a well-equipped playground and an astroturf pitch.

Vision and values 

The school focuses on British values that promote tolerance, understanding, courtesy, mutual respect and good manners. Teachers strive to provide a stimulating and creative environment for children. They teach students to care about each other and to appreciate cultural diversity. 

Brooke Hill Academy focuses on the importance of maths, reading and writing, but also believes in the importance of extra-curricular activities. It prides itself on its Forest School status and emphasis on outdoor learning. The local environment is used to enrich pupils’ learning experiences. The school has also gained the ICT Mark and Green Flag Eco status.
