The Woodland Academy Trust consists of three popular schools, Northumberland Heath, Peareswood and Willow Bank Primary Schools working in partnership. We are thrilled to have been selected to expand our schools to accommodate the growing pupil population of our community. We pride ourselves on being popular and successful schools with a strong community ethos. Due to our current expansion we are looking to recruit Teachers for all three of our schools. All appointments will be on a Trust contract; however, Teachers will rarely move school within an academic year. Please read our Ofsted Reports and if you are hard-working, with a passion for learning and wish to join our happy, thriving Trust, please apply. Northumberland Heath Primary School

The successful candidate will have the passion and desire to inspire a love of learning in all our pupils. The school has special interest in performing arts and a strong 'pupil voice', which your enthusiasm for will help to develop even further.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about providing opportunities for children from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Is keen to develop and make use of the school's links with the local community
  • Can take a lead role in delivering an inspirational curriculum that draws on a love of theatre, dance and other aspects of performing arts.

  • Understands the value of developing the 'whole' child.
  • Is committed to forging strong relationships with parents and other local figures.
  • Is an excellent teacher, committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Has the vision, passion and drive to improve standards in all areas of school life.
  • Has a meticulous approach to organisation and time management.

Peareswood Primary School

Independence through adventure, excellence through challenge
The successful candidate will have a passion for outdoor and adventure learning and to be part of this area of the school's work within their classroom. A love of kayaking, rock climbing, mountain walking, wild swimming and conservation, among other interests, would be desirable.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about providing outdoor and adventure learning opportunities for children from deprived backgrounds.
  • Is keen to use the outdoors to underpin their teaching.
  • Can take a lead role in delivering a truly innovative curriculum.
  • Is an excellent teacher, committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
  • Has the vision, passion and drive to improve standards in all areas of school life.
  • Has a meticulous approach to organisation and time management.
