Class Teacher for students with PMLD or ASC

JFK School caters for learners with profound and multiple disabilities and for those who are on the autistic spectrum.

At JFK, we want to secure and build on the strengths that resulted in Ofsted judging our school Good with some outstanding features and have recently established a multi-academy trust, (MAT), with Sheringham Primary School who also share our vision: to provide the best possible education for each and every child, to work together in harmony and value others in our community.

JFK are looking for inspiring teachers to be responsible for raising the standard of learning and teaching for all. JFK School is situated across two sites, one specifically for our older ASC and the other for PMLD/SLD and younger ASC. Depending on your background this appointment could be based at either site.

To qualify for this post you will need to have the following skills/experience:

• QTS
• Proven skills and abilities to teach across all age ranges
• Knowledge of current educational trends, curriculum developments and educational initiatives within a specialist SEN setting
• Inspire, challenge and motivate others
• Demonstrable evidence of raising the standards of learning and teaching
