Class Teacher for Year 1

Contract term: Temporary for 2 terms initially

The Local Governing Body of this Co-operative Academy are seeking to appoint a teacher who has a passion and enthusiasm for the learning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in continuing to drive forward academy improvement and will be responsible for further enhancing curriculum drivers in Y1 and maintaining standards across the academy. This is an exciting opportunity that would suit a motivated and energetic individual who would welcome the opportunity to work closely with the Academy Leadership Team in designing an innovative approach to the new National Curriculum.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an exemplary classroom practitioner who will model outstanding practice and lead by example in Key Stage 1.
• Has a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards of attainment, progress and behaviour across the Academy.
• Will be able to maintain and continue to raise standards across the Academy.
• Has the commitment required to work in partnership with parents/carers and the wider school community.
• Will work creatively and effectively with the Head of Academy and Senior Leadership Team to drive school improvement.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work as part of a dedicated team.
