Class Teacher (With Possible Head Of Year Role With TLR)

Due to promotion, Marnel Junior School is seeking to appoint a talented and passionate class teacher who is committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning.

From January, our three form entry junior school, located in Popley, Basingstoke, is looking to appoint a Year 3 teacher. For the right candidate, who is looking to further their career, this post could come with a Head of Year 3 role and a TLR.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an excellent classroom practitioner, committed to raising standards for all children 
• Is a reflective teacher who is keen to achieve personal excellence for themselves and the children they teach 
• Is passionate about making learning experiences exciting, memorable and engaging for all 
• Demonstrates a commitment to pupils' development and pastoral care
• If interested in Head of Year position:
• Has effective people management skills 
• Has the confidence and time management skills to lead a team and a year group of 90 children 
• Can lead by example and share good practice through coaching and mentoring.
