A SEN (lower) allowance of £2001 per annum is payable on appointment.

The full SEN allowance of £3954 per annum is payable following the acquisition of a post-graduate qualification in the field (supported by the school), or the completion of five years in post at Carew Academy.

We are looking for people with drive, creativity and a passion for teaching to join our improving school to work towards becoming outstanding.

Experience of working with pupils with SEN in either a mainstream or special school setting is desirable but not essential. What is imperative is that you have high expectations, a love of challenge and a determination to make a difference to the lives of our fantastic children. Academy status brings new opportunities.

We welcome applications from NQTs, or from those for whom QTS is expected in the summer.
