Fixed Term Maternity Cover for up to Two Terms

The Queensmead Primary Academy serves a long-standing local community in the Braunstone area of Leicester. They operate in an open culture with ambitious staff that are very well supported by the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust. The Trust are committed to accelerating the progress of the Academy for the benefit of their 460 pupils and for the future of Queensmead. The recent Ofsted inspection graded all areas as 'Good', commenting on the very positive learning environment and the high expectations of all pupils.

The Queensmead Primary Academy are looking for an innovative and committed Teacher to form part of the dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 team who will make a marked contribution to the development of the Academy. The post will commence in January 2015 and is for fixed term maternity cover for up to two terms.

As a qualified teaching professional, you will have the capability of engaging and enthusing pupils through a commitment to quality learning. Working to your high-level principles and expectations of achievement and behaviour, you will be able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies and teaching skills.
