About Randal Cremer Primary School

Randal Cremer is a thriving school within a vibrant community that has achieved great results by ensuring children’s individual learning and progress is at the heart of everything it does.

Our pupils come from many different backgrounds and speak over 30 languages thereby bringing a rich diversity to the cultural life of the school. Our staff also reflect the cultural and ethnic mix of the school.

The main school building was built in 1875 and is arranged over three floors and an attic area. There are recent extensions to the Nursery and administration area. An additional classroom has also been built.

There are several group rooms scattered across the school, including a Reading Recovery Room, which are used for providing additional support for focus pupils.

We believe a key to every child’s success is a strong partnership built between parents and school. Many opportunities are provided for parents to meet and work with the school team.

We aim to provide the children with skills, knowledge, understanding and critical awareness and a positive attitude to learning.

We provide a wide range of extended activities for pupils beyond the school day such as a Breakfast Club, a playcentre, sport and music tuition.

If you want to work with enthusiastic children, committed teachers and supportive parents and governors to achieve excellence then this is the school for you.
