Willow Dene is a forward thinking and innovative school that is committed to providing an outstanding education for children with a wide range of learning needs. We are a MOVE centre of excellence, and have recently designed and implemented a ground breaking personalised assessment system. Willow Dene is part of a unique and exciting four school federation, enabling us to forge meaningful mainstream links that benefit both children and staff. Willow Dene will become a school for children aged 2 -16 in September 2015. Our school is on an exciting journey that will be enriched by the completion of our rebuild in December 2014.

Our OFSTED inspection in 2012 recognised the rapid improvement at the school and as a result of teachers high expectations, all groups of children make good progress and achieve well. Behaviour of our children is excellent as a result of the high quality care and support they receive.

We are looking for dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic practitioners, who are willing to learn and want to achieve the very highest standards of teaching and learning. We want someone who is able to see the possibilities for our exceptional learners and develop provision that enables all to thrive.

You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and well qualified staff team and will find this post challenging, stimulating and rewarding. In-service training and an induction programme will be provided by the school.

Willow Dene is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending the school. As the duties of these posts involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidates will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Disclosure and Barring Service
