To provide clerical and administrative support to the Head Teacher and to liaise with the Office Manager. Duties will include clerical work of a general nature, such as filing, opening mail, cash handling, typing, assisting with class preparation, general supervision of pupils, data input via a computer terminal and administrative tasks associated with the maintenance of all school records in relation to pupils and staff.
The post involves daily first aid (minor) duty at interval and lunchtimes.
A good general education with typing / word processing skills is essential and experience of Microsoft Office, Click & Go and other relevant software would be desirable.
The term time salary shown above has been calculated based on the number of term time weeks that apply to this post in relation to the full time salary.
On completion of additional years of service by 1 January of each year, following the anniversary of the date of appointment, your term time salary will be adjusted to include a payment in lieu of the additional leave day accrued at the beginning of each leave year for the first 10 years of service.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children.
