Cambridge University Press plays a leading role in global education publishing, at the same time as furthering the mission of the University of Cambridge to pursue the highest levels of education, learning and research.

Our expanding International Education business provides educational materials, resources and services to teachers and learners, from ages 3-19, in over 160 countries.

We are seeking dynamic Commissioning Editors to join our team at a time of rapid growth. In this exciting role you will bring energy, innovation and insight to our publishing strategy, driving the success of a market-leading programme of print and digital resources.

We would love to hear from you if the following apply:

  • You are enthused by the opportunity to manage and grow a leading portfolio of international education products and services
  • You can translate acute market understanding into profitable publishing plans, and communicate your vision to authors, customers and other key stakeholders
  • You can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a wide range of roles across the organisation to deliver on your vision
  • You have proven commissioning or editorial experience in education publishing, or a related field
  • You are eager to spend time travelling to overseas markets to inform your publishing plans
  • You would like to be part of an ambitious business, which is committed to the development of high-quality teaching and learning experiences
