An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably skilled and experienced manager to lead the development of Community and Family Learning.

The service delivers an ambitious programme to almost 10,000 participants and is funded primarily by the Skills Funding Agency. The most recent Ofsted inspection in April 2010 judged the service to be good with some outstanding features.

We are looking for a highly creative and committed manager with a demonstrable track of service development and delivery.

The post will particularly focus on:

  • developing partnerships to support the delivery of Community/Family Learning and Skills
  • developing the curriculum to meet local needs and quality assurance - ensuring the service meets the requirements of Ofsted and the Skills Funding Agency
  • maximising funding opportunities to work with residents across the lifelong learning range.

For an informal discussion about this role please contact Santino Fragola, Head of Lifelong Learning, on 0208 871 8491 or at sfragola@wandsworth.gov.uk
