We seek to recruit a Course Leader to support our Health and Social Care and HND provision and join our expanding Service Industries department.

Working at our Flackwell Heath campus, you will be responsible for delivering our HND and Further Education Health and Social Care courses. An excellent communicator and team member, you will enjoy sharing your industry experience through the delivery of top quality lessons that engage learners, supporting them to achieve their goals.

Candidates will ideally have an endorsed teaching qualification, relevant degree and demonstrable experience in the area of Health and Social Care. Additionally, Assessor and Verifier awards (A&V/TAQA) would be highly advantageous. Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE A-C equivalent) are also essential.

Amersham & Wycombe College is a co-educational further education college based in Buckinghamshire.

The college’s Amersham Campus benefits from large workshop spaces where Art and Design students can express themselves, with vast facilities including photography studios, print rooms and fine art studios. Its 120-seat theatre often plays host to performances from the college’s dance, musical theatre, and acting students, which are open to the wider community. TV & film students have a TV gallery and studio space. Music students also have training suites, recording studios, project studios and rehearsal spaces. The Amersham Campus is also home to the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy, which was born there in 2009 and has produced two winners of the PJEA National Entrepreneur of the Year, in 2014 and 2016. The college also has IT suites, refectories, student social areas, and a gym.
