About the role:
We are seeking to recruit an excellent Additional Learning Support (ALS) / Inclusive Learning Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership and management for the Cross College Inclusive Learning and ALS provision, undertaking line management responsibility for the Northern ALS Hub, its students and the management of its staff and resources. You will manage the ALS College budget and ensure that financial claims and records of ALS funding is earned, claimed and evidenced in accordance with requirements of the funding body.
About you:
With an appropriate teaching qualification at degree level or above, you will have appropriate specialist teaching qualification in either ESOL, Literacy, Numeracy or Dyslexia or willingness to acquire one. You will have significant experience as an ALS/Inclusive Manager in an FE setting and experience of direct line managing a range of ALS staff. You must have the ability to lead and manage the Cross College ALS/Inclusive Learning provision to a high standard and the ability to communicate and work effectively with staff in the Centre, across the College, and with external bodies.
