We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Curriculum Area Manager to join our College to provide exceptional educational leadership in the Centre's Regional Automotive Technology HUB (RATH).

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have relevant industrial experience and will be able to demonstrate effective curriculum leadership and development in a relevant area. Reporting to the Curriculum Centre Head the successful candidate will lead a team of staff and work effectively in cross-Centre/College teams and develop partnership working with external stakeholder.

 Blackburn College is a further and higher education college in Lancashire. As of the most recent inspection there were over 11,000 students on the school roll. A new state of the art Sports facility and Regional Automotive Technology Hub opened in onsite in 2014 at a combined worth of £19 million. The area of Blackburn with Darwen has a population of 150,000, and is 25 miles north of Manchester. There are over 3000 students studying degrees at Blackburn College, which are primarily awarded by Lancaster University.
