If you believe you can think differently, beyond the exam and the classroom, and have a passion for teaching and learning with young people then look at us. We are The GM "GREATER MANCHESTER SUSTAINABLE ENGINEERING UNIVERSITY TECHNICAL COLLEGE (THE GM UTC) - OLDHAM"

The GM will offer an alternative educational route at age 14 or 16 for students who wish to follow a technical path into employment or higher education. Our curriculum is employer led and The GM is supported by a range of employer partners including Equity Solutions Group, LG, Groundtherm and EDT. Our education partners are the University of Bolton, Oldham College and City & Guilds. We will specialise in sustainable engineering and construction, responding to the challenges faced by employers in recruiting well qualified young people in the North East Greater Manchester area.

You may not have an engineering background and this is not essential. We are looking for outstanding practitioners. If you think you can be an inspiring and outstanding Teacher of Maths  in a UTC environment, and work in support of the goals of The GM,  developing a community of learners who will play a key part in the future of sustainable engineering and construction, then we want to hear from you.

We are seeking to appoint a creative, energetic and enthusiastic Curriculum Lead of Maths to join The GM UTC on a permanent basis from August 2014.
