A fantastic opportunity has now arisen to join the School of Access and Continuning Education as Curriculum Leader - College maths Coordinator. As Curriculum Leader you will support the Curriculum Manager in managing staff and resources within the School with a strategic overview of a designated portfolio of programmes. You will be responsible for ensuring a high quality learning experience for all learners, leading the development of a cluster of designated areas and implementing appropriate strategies for your curriculum area.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess a recognised teaching qualification (minimum level 5) and a good degree in a relevant discipline, and will be willing to work towards a Master's degree.

You will possess industrial experience within an appropriate discipline, and experience of teaching a wide range of levels, evidenced by high student satisfaction and high success rates. You will also be experienced in tutoring and supporting individuals and successfully co-ordinating and managing a portfolio of programmes, as well as being able to demonstrate initiative in developing curriculum based on the demands of the sector. As an individual you will have a sound knowledge of current trends in F.E. and H.E with a proven track record of pro-actively driving forward organisational development and change, and the ability to manage staff and students effectively.
