A vacancy has arisen within the Life Long Learning department for a Curriculum Leader - Inclusion.

The purpose of this role is to teach and supervise a curriculum delivery team, ensuring that all budget, quality and operational targets are achieved. You will plan, lead and develop the curriculum area to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, the integration of Mathematics and English, and the College Strategic Plan.

Candidates must hold a level 4 teaching qualification or equivalent and a minimum of level 2 in English and Maths. You will also have knowledge of curriculum development and a track record of effective teaching or training experience in the subjects associated with Life Long Learning.  Experience of working with students who have a learning difficulty/disability, are vulnerable, disengaged and may present challenging behaviour and the 14-16 curriculum is desirable.

North Lindsey College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in North Lincolnshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college, located in Scunthorpe has approximately 1,800 students attending every year.

North Lindsey College was established in 1953, then known as North Lindsey Technical College. It offers a wide range of learning facilities for students, including a fitness suite, hair and beauty salon, animal care centre and travel centre. In 2014 it was identified as good with outstanding leadership and management by Ofsted.
