A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious academic practitioner to join the Department of Visual & Performing Arts.

You'll be joining the College at an exciting time, with a new multi-million pound Visual and Performing Arts Academy opening this September. These leading edge facilities will provide our learners with the highest quality learning environment for them to achieve their future aspirations.

Complementing the state of the art facilities will be a high quality curriculum offer and the successful candidate will have specific expertise in a Visual Arts or Media subject with the ability to lead teaching, learning and assessment across two established teams of staff. The successful applicant will be at the heart of guaranteeing outstanding achievement, developing creative teaching strategies and practices and ensuring positive outcomes for all of our students.

You will support the Head of Department and work alongside the existing Curriculum Leader, in driving forward a successful curriculum area as well as line managing a large team of curriculum staff, developing and maintaining relationships with partners in the Creative Industries and taking an active role in curriculum development and the marketing and promotion of Visual & Performing Arts.
