Vision for Education are working in partnership with Milton Keynes College who are a leading Further Education College providing a comprehensive range of vocational, academic, professional and higher education courses. The College also delivers the Offender Learning and Skills Service (OLASS) Phase 4 contracts for East Midlands, West Midlands and South Central, providing education to 30 prisons across these 3 regions.

Milton Keynes College is seeking an exceptionally able and ambitious new Deputy Director of Faculty to join a leadership team that is committed to creating a truly outstanding education institution. You will ensure the delivery of a vibrant and effective student experience including excellent teaching, learning and assessment leading to outstanding student success within the Faculty of Academic, Foundation & Care Studies (including: A levels, GCSE, Access to H.E., Business, Foundation Learning, LDD and the Care Professions );

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • Experience of leading top level change within the Further Education sector
  • Successful results improving performance within large organisations
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum innovation to support the local employment landscape, alternatively the ability to skills match at a commercial level appreciating our students skills to the demands of the local employment community
  • Proven ability to coordinate a diverse range of large scale projects simultaneously
  • Strong track record of working as part of a team
  • A relentless focus on quality improvement and actions that deliver success
