  • A strong focus on quality and associated improvement measures, with a view to achieving high performance standards and challenging targets, resulting in 'outstanding' provision
  • Line management and operational responsibility as agreed with the Head of Curriculum in relation to targets for funding/budgets/staff performance/Engagement etc.

Having successfully taught on relevant programmes within this specific curriculum area and with a proven track record in improving the learner experience, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant staff, curriculum and course management experience gained in an FE College, coupled with a PGCE /Teaching and recognised Level 5 Management qualification (or willingness to achieve in 2 years)
  • The confidence and know-how to plan schedules and timetable activities in a complex environment, along with a practical grasp of budgeting and solid management skills
  • A passion for continuous improvement and high performance in order to achieve positive learner outcomes and an excellent student experience
  • The ability and knowledge to make accurate judgements about the quality of teaching, learning and assessments

Recent improvements to the Park include an underground gallery, visitor centre, shop and large restaurant - all the ingredients for a great day out.
