Job overview

Marlborough College Malaysia is an independent co-educational day and boarding school which opened in August 2012 with 350 pupils. Now in its third year of operation, the school has 730 pupils (188 boarders) and will expand in a controlled manner over the next five years to a maximum capacity of around 1260 pupils.

It is situated on a secure 90 acre campus in the rapidly developing Iskandar region of Johor, on the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia just across the causeway from Singapore.

The College is made up of three parts: a pre-preparatory school (Reception - Year 3), a preparatory school (Year 4 - Year 8) and a senior school (Year 9 to Year 13). Our oldest year group at the moment is Year 12 (Lower Sixth) which will be our first Upper Sixth leaving cohort in July 2016.  External examinations are IGCSE at 16 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at 18.

The school is a genuine expansion of Marlborough College UK (and not a franchise) and is managed and governed by a number of people who have a strong association with the school in Wiltshire, England.
