This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced school leader to join the Senior Leadership team in a school which is in an exciting period of transition as we move towards a two-form entry school. We are looking for someone who is ready to join with us on our journey to become outstanding. The school is ideally situated within close proximity to junction 27 (M62) midway between Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford with good commuter transport links.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated Deputy Head Teacher to join our friendly, welcoming village school.

The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher with:

  • A clear vision of what makes a school outstanding;
  • A strong belief in the importance of wellbeing and positive relationships and a commitment to high standards for all stakeholders;
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner and be innovative in further developing teaching and learning;
  • Able to cope with new challenges and the workload that this position will bring, alongside knowledge of imminent changes in education;
  • Have a positive approach towards leading change through strong partnerships and relationships.
