The governing body of the Federation are looking to appoint a dynamic Deputy Head Teacher who will continue the exciting work we have started and focus especially on the further development of our sixth form, with a specific focus on engaging the commercial sector to ensure employment, or voluntary work for our students once school is over. You will need to work closely with FE providers and partner schools and plan carefully for transition onto life after our sixth form.

Our students learn from P1 to GCSE and we offer a broad and exciting curriculum including an impressive work related learning programme, forest school, music and rebound therapy, music technology and so on. We will soon move to three sites - Primary, Secondary and Post 16.

Come and join our friendly and committed team and work with us towards achieving the vision we have for our students. The leadership team are very inclusive in their thinking, and aim to change the culture in our community to ensure that students are no-longer "separate and different" but work alongside friends from other settings to achieve all that they can. We are members of a number of community partnerships and this supports our high aspirations for our students.

We are proud of the work we do with our families and have developed the role of parent to parent support mentors, which we are beginning to see having an impact.

The successful applicant will have opportunities to work in all of our settings with learners aged from 3-19.

In addition to the application form, applicants are requested to provide a personal statement to identify some examples of demonstrable impact.

Enquiries and visits are welcomed. We look forward to hearing from you.
