As Governors we are proud of Shaftesbury Park Primary School and the achievements of our children and staff. All the staff work as a supportive well-knit team committed to developing individual children's talents and skills within a richly diverse, multicultural community.

Following the promotion of the current Deputy Head Teacher to Headship, the governors are seeking to appoint a new Deputy Head Teacher from January 2015 to build on the schools 'good' Ofsted inspection and play a key part in its drive to become 'outstanding'.

We are looking for someone with high aspirations for inner city children who will work closely with our Head, engaging with staff, governors, parents and the local community to promote high achievement and make the school a significant centre of its community. You will be a skilled manager of people and resources and have the vision and innovation to support the development of a school with a bilingual stream.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team which aims to deliver the best it can to all stakeholders.
