St Mary's Church of England Primary School is a one form entry school with a nursery set in a lovely semi-rural location in the town of Rickmansworth which has excellent transport links.

Through our creative and challenging curriculum and pastoral support, we encourage all children to share and care for one another and work towards becoming independent, responsible and capable young people.

We are currently seeking a Deputy Headteacher with experience and the motivation to take the lead in agreed aspects of school improvement.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a strong leader who can challenge, inspire, lead and motivate staff and pupils.
  • Take an active role in developing and delivering strategies to raise standards across the school
  • Have outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for children's attainment
  • Be flexible in their approach to change
  • Be energetic and resilient.

St. Mary’s is a Primary Church of England Voluntary Aided School for children from Nursery through to Key Stage 2 (Aged 11). We are a partnership between the Church of England and the Hertfordshire Local Education Authority.
