We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and outstanding leader with the knowledge, vision, stamina and courage to build upon our successes to date. The successful candidate will be additional deputy headteacher who will help lead our work in school improvement and to join our talented and committed school team.

Thames View Junior School is at the heart of the local community. It is a welcoming, diverse and rapidly improving primary school with a clear vision for the future. The school had an Ofsted inspection in November 2012 where it was graded as requiring Improvement. Since this time we have worked rigorously to improve our school.

Our Deputy Headteacher will be:

  • An exceptional leader with the skills, knowledge and understanding to fulfil the requirements of the role effectively.
  • A leader who is passionate about teaching and learning and providing children with rich learning opportunities
  • An experienced leader with a clear focus on achievement for all of our pupils

  • An individual who enjoys taking ownership and leading on a wide range of aspects of school improvements
