Job Purpose:

To support the Headteacher in creating, developing and evaluating the vision of St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School in partnership with pupils, staff, governors and parents. In addition work in partnership with the Headteacher to continue to strive for excellence in every area.

This is an outstanding school. Pupils make excellent progress from their starting points in both their academic studies and in their personal development and well-being. Pupils relish being at school. They are confident, reflective and very sensitive to the needs of others (OFSTED)

  • You have QTS and post graduate qualifications. You are someone who motivates and inspires others and is a successful leader.
  • You are a practising Catholic and may or may not be working currently in the Catholic sector but you are deeply committed to your faith and the place of faith in education
  • You are an expert practitioner with a proven track record of success. You have vision and enthusiasm for the future
  • You are passionate about the wellbeing of children and determined that they should have an education that searches out and develops their diverse talents; you achieve high standards of progress and achievement in all areas of the child's development
  • You recognise and respond to the dignity of all created in the image and likeness of God whether children, staff or the wider networks of the school community
