Deputy Headteacher

Deputy Headteacher, Hackney

We are looking to recruit an inspirational Deputy Headteacher to lead a newly established inclusion team at our exciting, innovative and child friendly primary school in Hoxton. The successful candidates will help us to develop our safeguarding, curriculum and pastoral support programs and promote achievement for all our pupils.

We are looking for a leader who:

• Are first rate teachers with very high expectations of what can be achieved and a  track record in raising pupil attainment
• Are strong communicators and successful team players, committed to developing strong working relationships with pupils, staff, families and external partners
• Understand how children learn best and never give up on them
• Are determined and resilient, with high expectations of themselves
• Understand what high standards look like and how to attain them
• Are flexible with a good sense of humour and an understanding of the bigger picture
• Can effectively coach and mentor others with demonstrable impact
• Are tough enough to cope with the challenges that a fast paced inner city school can bring.
• Are innovators who can take risks to make a project their own
• Have a vision for what outstanding provision should look like
