Due to the retirement of the long standing Deputy Headteacher and staff restructuring the Governing Body wishes to appoint an experienced leader to work in partnership with The Headteacher. Priory School is a large, expanding Primary School. When the school completes expansion there will be over 1,000 pupils. The school is a recognised school of creativity, and staff and pupils demonstrate high levels of achievement and creative thinking. The school has two resource units, one for Physical, Medical and Sensory difficulties (38 places) and another for children with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (12 places).

We require someone who has aspirations for Headship and the ability to work closely with the Headteacher and Leadership Team to build on the achievements of the school and move the school forward. The school is currently going through a significant period of change and this is an exciting opportunity for the appropriate candidate.
