Following the promotion of Associate Principal to the role of Principal from January 2015, Hampton Academy is seeking to recruit an outstanding Associate Principal to assist in leading the next phase of the Academy's improvement journey. This role will provide an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring Headteacher to develop the full repertoire of school leadership skills.

Hampton Academy is a lively and vibrant 11-18 academy in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The Academy is sponsored by the Learning Schools Trust which is part of an international network of schools across three continents, giving opportunities for students and staff to learn as part of a global network. The Academy is organised into three colleges, housed in stunning new buildings designed by renowned architects Astudio. The Academy Sixth Form opened in 2013.

The Associate Principal role is critically important to the successful operation of the Academy. The postholder will support and assist the Principal with all aspects of school organisation at both management and strategic levels, including deputising for the Principal as required. They will lead on significant areas of the academy's work such as school improvement, the curriculum and sixth form development.
