We wish to appoint an ambitious, experienced and inspirational leader.

Eastbury is a successful, well ordered and inclusive school serving an ethnically diverse community. In September 2015 we will become a 3-19 all through school. We celebrated excellent GCSE results again this year, with 81% A*-C and 62% including English and Maths in August 2013. Likewise our sixth form trajectory is impressive with A Level rising to 100% pass rate with 76% A*-C and even greater success forecasted. As a result of our success and caring ethos student aspiration and motivation is increasing.

We are now one of the most improved schools in East London. In January 2014 we received a commendation from David Laws MP on being placed in the Top 100 Most improved schools nationally. We are part of the Priority Schools Building Programme which will provide primary accommodation and more modern secondary classrooms. Our mission statement, 'getting the best for and from all our learners' is fast becoming a reality.

The school is located within easy walking distance of Barking tube and mainline station.

Eastbury Community School is part of a successful 6th form partnership arrangement with four other local secondary schools.  This partnership will potentially cater for the educational needs of over 1000 pupils studying a diverse range of academic and vocational courses. We have had increasing numbers of pupils achieving top grades in our sixth form; in 2019 we had 24% A*/A and an average grade of B-.  Although we cannot publish 2020 grades, we improved on this and our 3-year ALPS measure is a 3, which places us in the top 25% for value added. This was also reflected in the destinations of our pupils, with multiple pupils gaining places at Oxbridge, plus Imperial College London, the LSE and KPMG apprenticeships. Overall, 64% of our pupils went on to study at Russell Group or top third universities. Just like skills and character traits, our pupils have a range of abilities. What we consistently do here, is push them to achieve no matter what their starting point is.
