The Board of Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, forward-thinking and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join this successful and popular school. Lampard School caters for children and young people aged 5-16 years with complex needs. The School has steadily increased in student numbers and is regularly over-subscribed.

This post offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a strong, hardworking and dedicated Senior Leadership Team. The current post holder will retire in August 2015 but you will take up the post from Easter 2015 to ensure a smooth transition in this highly important role.

You will need to have high aspirations for students, a strong commitment to the development of the School and the drive to continually raise standards. Proven successful experience in Leadership and Management is essential and you must be able to demonstrate how your initiatives have impacted on learning and progress for students with complex needs. The specific responsibilities will be negotiated with you on appointment.
