Opened in 2010 and located in Chelsea, this exciting and unique independent special school is seeking a Deputy Headteacher to join a highly committed group of staff.

Within a Christian ethos, the school's aims are to provide a holistic education for children, some with moderate learning delay and others with more complex needs.

This new role represents an excellent opportunity to be directly involved in helping to further develop an outstanding and genuinely bespoke provision. Rated 'excellent' in all areas by the ISI Inspectorate in June 2014.

We welcome candidates who can be part of a fully integrated team of teaching, therapeutic and support staff and who also have:

  • Substantial experience as a classroom practitioner in special education
  • Evidence of major whole school responsibilities
  • Proven track record of turning policy into effective and successful practice
