We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative Deputy Learning Leader of English to further raise achievement and to deliver high quality education in English.

In 2014 over half of our students achieved at least a C grade in both English and Mathematics. More than one in ten secured 3 A*-A grades, whilst 35% achieved at least one A*-A

High quality personal and professional development is a key reason for our success and we place great emphasis on supporting and developing our staff throughout their careers.

In April 2013 we moved into our new £18.5m state of the art premises.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an excellent teacher
  • Have a strong track record of raising student achievement
  • Support the vision of the Director of English and work hard to achieve it
  • Motivate and engage students, staff and parents
  • Support and encourage students and staff to secure their personal best
  • Hold people to account, demanding the very best from them at all times
  • Be creative, determined, enthusiastic and resilient with the ability to help drive the team to outstanding

You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a successful track record, able to demonstrate the professional and personal qualities necessary to inspire our students and our staff. We are searching for someone who has the skills to help lead, grow and develop an already very successful team until all lessons in English are consistently outstanding.
