Deputy Principal

Outstanding opportunity for an innovative and inspirational primary stage leader

Following the conversion of the school to an Academy through sponsored status, Burton and South Derbyshire Education Trust are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Deputy Principal with the vision, determination, skills and attributes to liaise closely with our Academy Principal and dedicated staff team and to support development and success.

We are looking for Deputy Principal who will:

• Work in close partnership with the principal and the whole academy community to lead on curriculum development and teaching and learning across the school
• Be an outstanding and inspirational teacher with high expectations of children's learning and behaviour and use these skills to help us on our journey to outstanding
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, drive and ambition for our academy
• Be able to demonstrate impact and achievement in their current leadership role
• Motivate and inspire all in the pursuit of excellence
