Applications are invited for the post of Design & Technology Technician at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. RMS is a leading independent girls' day/boarding School with 940+ pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 240 teaching and support staff, situated on a 200-acre parkland site near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The role would involve supporting the department in the preparation of teaching materials, maintaining the teaching environments, workshop machinery and equipment, checking and ordering materials as well as photographing and cataloguing the work of students.
Previous experience as a D & T Technician in a secondary school is preferred although training will be provided. The post is for 37.5 hours per week, for 43 weeks per year (35 weeks term time, 3 weeks during holiday period and 5 weeks paid holiday)

The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18.
Founded in 1789, the school was originally intended for use by the children of Freemasons. It is now non-denominational and has no restrictions on attendance. As an academically selective institution, the school require potential applicants to undergo formal or informal assessment before a place is offered.
