Dining Assistant

• 10 hours Term-time only (11.30 - 1.30pm)
• Fixed Term until July 17th 2015
• Level 1 scale 1b SCP 6
• PRO RATA of £12,614 + LW £1773 (app £7.60 per hour)

Barham Primary School is expanding and we have an increased number of children eating school meals in the Dining Area. We are seeking to appoint an additional  Dining Assistant to provide an enhanced dining experience in our new facility. The post involves providing a clean, efficient and welcoming environment and includes supervising children whilst they eat. The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team of staff who are committed to achieving high standards for all pupils.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate:

• A good model of spoken English
• An understanding of children 
• Good team work
• An understanding of healthy eating and hygiene

Previous experience of working with children, and, although not essential of working in food service, would be an asset.
